Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, October 13, 2019
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,
winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.”
Genesis 8:22

FINE TUNING

Seems like there’s a lot of conversation,
About the topic of preservation,
And about earth’s total devastation,
The earth belongs to the Lord…

And His promise shall endure,
Certain things are for sure,
Day and night, and seasons pure,
For the earth belongs to the Lord…

And though good stewards we are to be,
It takes God to care for land and sea,
And His creation to oversee,
Yes, the earth belongs to the Lord…

For look around at the natural laws,
They did not come about without cause,
God’s word is perfect and without flaws,
The earth belongs to the Lord…

And it is not mankind’s to own,
We’re here by His grace alone,
And everywhere, His fine tuning is shown,
Be assured, the earth belongs to the Lord…

So place your trust in Jesus name,
His cares for you, it is no shame,
God is a consuming fire, no one can tame,
One day soon He will come to reclaim,
This earth, that belongs to the Lord…
