“…For when I am weak, then I am strong.”  II Corinthians 12:10b

Staying Strong


It is really possible, in weakness made strong?
When everything seems to be going wrong? 
When dark nights last so long?
When I can’t seem to lift a song?

Can it really be true? 
Can old be turned to new?
It there anything His love can’t do?
Is it possible we’re not through?

Is ‘sufficient’ His grace?
Can I really run this race?
Can I find strength in His face?
Can I rest and still keep the pace?

Is He enough for all my stress?
Does He understand all my distress?
Doe He hear when my heart does confess?
Does He really promise, my needs to address?

To all these questions, let us reply,
God sent His Son for us to die!
So there is no reason to get stuck on ‘why’,
Staying strong till the day, to Him, we’ll fly!
