Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, February 2, 2020
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

So Loved
What an amazing love He has shown,
Giving His One and Only, to be known,
So we who believe would become His own,
For we are so loved…

Though we have rebelled, going our own way,
Rejecting righteousness, far we did stray,
But while in dark God sent word to say,
You are so loved…

For you see love does more than feel,
It goes the distance, finishes the deal,
God’s love so amazing, so real,
Declaring we are so loved…

No barrier or blockade,
Can hold back this love, or ever fade,
It was this love that for our sins paid,
So, so loved…

So open your heart and receive,
Confess with your lips, that you believe,
For God’s love secure will never leave,
You are so loved…
