Our Father 

"But now, O Lord,  You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; and we are the work of Your hand." Isaiah 64:8
All through the Scriptures we find God declaring and demonstrating that He is the Father who loves us and sent His Son Jesus to die for us.  He is the Creator and we are the clay. He is our Redeemer and we are the Redeemed. 

Today,  when we take time to honor our earthly fathers,  let us be confident that God's love and faithfulness far outweighs any human love. "For God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,  Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

All good gifts come from Him and He never changes. "Don't be deceived,  my beloved brethren...Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,  and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." (James 1:16-17)
